How to get to Patmos

How to get there?

The fastest way to get to Patmos is by charter flights to either Kos or Samos, which start in May and go till the end of October.

The flight from Vienna to
Kos or Samos takes approximately 2 hours.

From either of those islands it is then only a 1-1 ½ hour transfer by hydrofoil boat ("flying dolphin") to Patmos. The hydrofoils leave in the mornings and afternoons.

If one would like to travel via Athens, there are two big ferry boats leaving Piraeus daily for Patmos.

The trip takes 7 to 9 hours .
